These prices are based on dogs that are professionally groomed every 4/6 weeks.

Each dog is assessed individually and an approximate quote can be given once I have seen your dog. The cost may vary from visit to visit depending on the temperament and condition of the coat – more tangles and matts means more time working on your dog which equates to a higher cost.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

HEALTH & WELFARE

While your dogs are in my care their health and welfare is my primary concern.  Your dog will only ever be groomed according to its tolerance of the process.  Occasionally during grooming a pre-existing condition may be discovered which you may or may not have been aware of and I will notify you of this immediately.  Although extremely unlikely, accidents can happen during grooming.  In the event of an accident or if a serious medical issue were to arise during your dog’s grooming session I may ask you to authorise emergency vet treatment.  All medical expenses will be covered by the dog’s owner.  Dip n Snip will not be held liable or responsible for irritation, abrasion, patchiness or hair loss due to any pre-existing skin condition or as a result of the grooming process.

Matted Coats:

Matts can grow tight to your dog’s skin and be extremely uncomfortable.  Dip n Snip will not cause unnecessary stress to your dog by de-matting.  Removing heavily matted coats can cause abrasions and cuts.  If your dog needs to be shaved, clients will be required to complete and sign a form for this process.  This will incur an additional charge.

Fleas:

Dogs entering the salon with fleas will incur an additional charge of £10 which includes a flea shampoo and also salon infestation treatment required to prevent contamination.  Please let me know upon booking if you suspect your dog may have fleas.  I can then make sure this is my last booking of the day to prevent cross contamination to other dogs.

Aggressive Dogs:

If your dog displays any aggression or shows signs of stress, I reserve the right to stop grooming.  Dip n Snip reserve the right to refuse any grooming services at any time.

Photographs:

Your dog may be photographed before and after it is groomed.  Photos are used on Dip n Snip’s website and Facebook pages.  If you would prefer your dog not to be photographed please let me know.

Cancellations:

I politely request that any cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance of your booking.  Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a charge of 50% of the cost of the groom.
