Dip n Snip is a grooming service owned and run by professionally trained dog groomer and graduate of The Dog Grooming Training Academy, Ellie Blow.

I have been working with dogs for over 10 years, initially gaining experience in a large local boarding kennels.  I have since set up my own business with boarding kennels and dog walking and now expanded into dog grooming having successfully completed a Professional Dog Grooming Course.  I also hold a National Certificate in Animal Management.

I work on a one to one basis with all dogs so you can be assured they will only be groomed by me and receive my personal attention during their visit.  This will allow your dog to build a good relationship with myself and also allows them the time they need to enjoy being pampered.  Due to my experience, I am very confident at handling all breeds and reassuring nervous dogs.  In addition to this, to ensure your dog is safe and comfortable no crates or cage dryers are ever used.  It is so important your dog enjoys their grooming session.

I am based in a small semi-rural village in Hertfordshire’s countryside.  My salon provides a calm and stress-free environment for your dog.  The salon is a newly built log cabin situated within our two acre garden, which also enables your dog to take a break if required.  I have installed all new equipment which includes a large professional stainless steel electrically controlled bath allowing large and less mobile dogs to simply step in.  I only use quality products to ensure your dog gets the best treatment.

I am the proud owner of JoJo, a cheeky Jack Russell x Dachshund rescue puppy and she was the inspiration for my new logo.  JoJo and I very much look forward to welcoming you and your dog, so do please come along and visit us!
